Major Moscow's Strikes Eliminate Electricity Throughout Kyiv

Power facilities targeted in the region
Ukraine's energy systems have come under increased strikes in the past few days

Throughout the evening, Moscow's missile and drone strikes have caused power cuts in extensive areas of Ukraine's capital, Kyiv.

A number of civilians were wounded while local people in eastern neighborhoods were experienced blackouts and encountered problems to water systems, per reports from local authorities.

At the same time, a minor was lost their life in a distinct aerial attack in the southeastern region in the southeastern part, as reported by local officials.

Moscow has increased strikes on power infrastructure over the last fortnight, while Ukrainian leadership has called for "concrete actions" from international partners to increase pressure on Moscow.

"What is required is not superficial actions but strong steps - from the America, the EU and the G7 - in providing protection systems and applying penalties," mentioned in a public message.

Authorities reported that 450 drones and more than 30 rockets attacked the country's power systems, labeling such attacks as "cynical and calculated" and against "everything that sustains normal life" as the weather cools.

The energy minister said Russia was "conducting extensive attacks" and technical staff were working to repair systems.

A wave of strikes damaged electrical systems and civilian homes in the capital.

Five out of the nine people hurt in the assaults on the city have been hospitalized, according to city authorities.

Regional authorities said the metropolitan region endured heavy assaults overnight. A minor was killed and three other people were hurt.

The attacks follow evenings of aerial attacks in the territory, sections of which are currently controlled by invading troops.

The whole nation is on alert for advanced weapon attacks, which are more difficult to spot.

Authorities told journalists that Russia was intentionally trying to destroy the country's energy grid, with assaults already affecting fuel infrastructure.

Officials stated energy workers and authorities were preparing for more assaults.
